Visiting the Edwin Fox is a fascinating glimpse into another time. You’re not just seeing a replica or a restoration—you’re seeing the real thing. The same timber and iron that once explored the world’s oceans.
You’ll get the most out of your visit if you spend at least an hour with us. We pride ourselves on being hands-on, so take as many photographs as you like, and feel free to try out the bunk beds! Because you’re exploring a real ship, we recommend wearing good footwear.
"An exceptional experience! Part of New Zealand's history, exposed due to those dedicated people who persevered to bring it to the people... Thank you"
